Who we are
Or who I am, I guess.
I’m a senior (not in age yet) research project manager and funding expert with 9 years of experience supporting large-scale research projects, consortium building, and grant management in two of Europe’s top-ranked comprehensive cancer centers. While being a tech and overall nerd. After nearly a decade of working within structured grant offices, I’ve taken the step to build something of my own to help scientists not just to secure funding, but build strong, collaborative and smooth-running projects.
I work across the full lifecycle: from scouting funding opportunities and supporting competitive proposal development to helping build complex international consortia and manage operations once projects are funded. I also collaborate with institutions on developing and delivering education and training initiatives for their research communities and will offer tailored mentorship and resources for funding managers and PIs alike. Experience in both small, focused projects and large-scale Joint Actions and infrastructure projects have given me an eye for details and the bigger picture at the same time (hence the myopia, probably).
I originally trained at Sciences Po Paris, one of Europe’s leading universities in social sciences and public affairs, where I graduated from the European Affairs master’s cursus. That background improved my versatility and intellectual curiosity, and strengthened the understanding of European institutional dynamics. A core part of the taught skillset is the capacity to quickly learn and adapt to new fields and evolving regulatory and structural landscapes - skills put to work keeping up with cancer researchers and engineers in oncology, AI-driven, digital health and quality of life projects. These are areas I care about and hope to continue supporting, alongside other areas with clear social impact.
I’ve had the chance to (informally) help many young researchers start their scientific journey and I hope to do more of that in the future, offering practical, approachable guidance to help them gain confidence and independence. Junior researchers often struggle to turn their innovative ideas into structured projects, to secure their first grants, or gain confidence in becoming more scientifically independent. I hope to help bridge that gap by offering practical and approachable guidance that helps them take their first steps.
